Hansel - Male Australian Shepherd mix
7 years old ID # 38129901 Look at Hansel - isn't he a cutie? This little guy has so much potential, he just needs a bit of obedience and manners. He's a smart cookie though. He already sits and lies down on command. Hansel isn't a cuddly dog - he is all about having fun. He loves to play ball. He also gobbles up liver treats - but watch your fingers! He needs some training on how to take treats like a gentleman. His perfect adopters are very active because this boy just wants to go, go, go! They will need a fenced yard, no other animals and no small children under 15 years old (due to food and toy guarding behaviour). All adoptable dogs have been given a behavioral test and our staff will be happy to explain the testing and discuss the results with potential adopters during the initial meeting with the dog you are interested in. |
Cruise - Haven of the Heart Rescue
Cruise, senior male aussie.
Cruise found himself without a home after his family lost their home in a devastating fire. He is a sweet old man who just loves to lounge around. He is overweight right now at 105lbs. and has been diagnosed with Hypothyroidism, he will need to be on medication for life.Prior to coming into our care, Cruise was not being treated for his Hypothyroidism and as a result he has developed a skin condition on his undercarriage and we are treating him with medicated baths as well. Cruise likes people and will follow you around like a puppy just to be near you. He is neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped.
Haven of the Heart is located near Palgrave and we only adopt out to homes within a 1 to 2 hour drive from Palgrave to save on travel time.
